Man dies after motorbike crashes into tree

A man in his sixties had died after the motorbike he was riding crashed into a tree.

The collision, involving a black BMW motorcycle, happened on the A4095 Upper Campsfield Road, near Woodstock, Oxfordshire, at about 13:00 GMT on Friday.

The rider died at the scene and his next of kin have been informed by Thames Valley Police.

The force is urging anybody with more information, or dash cam footage of the incident, to get in touch.

Investigating officer PC Shaireen Khan, of the roads policing unit, said: "If you have dash cam footage of the collision or moments leading up to it, we'd ask that you please send it to us.

"We believe that there was a white transit van travelling in the direction of Enslow at the time, and the driver may have witnessed the collision. If you think this was you, please get in touch."
