Hull FC have announced the release of forward James Bell with immediate effect.
The 32-year-old joined the Black and Whites ahead of the 2026 season, and made 18 appearances for the club.
Before that he spent four years with St Helens, for whom he scored nine tries in 81 games.
The club said the decision had been taken to allow Bell "to take up an opportunity with another Super League club in 2027".
