Jersey ended their victorious ICC Challenge League campaign with a 34-run win over Qatar in Nairobi.

The win ensured Jersey ended the tournament five points clear at the top of their six-team pool.

They, along with second-placed Kuwait, progress to the Cricket World Cup Qualifier play-off in Nepal next month.

Batting first in a game reduced to 24 overs a side because of rain, Jersey scored 194-8 as the impressive Zak Tribe - voted batter of the tournament - hit 53 off 42 balls.

Having been reduced to 37-3 Tribe and Charlie Brennan (33) put on 68 for the fourth wicket while Josh Lawrenson - who was voted player of the tournament - chipped in with a 27-ball 40.

In reply Qatar, who finished bottom of the group, were bowled out for 160 in 22 overs.

Opener Zubair Ali scored 54 as Tribe took 4-16 with the ball while Ben Ward had figures of 4-29.
