Midfielder James Jones has re-signed for League Two club Crewe Alexandra on a contract until January.

Jones, 30, began his career with the Alex, scoring 21 goals in 185 appearances.

He left Crewe for Lincoln City in 2020.

Jones was later part of two promotion-winning squads at Wrexham and has been a free agent since leaving Burton Albion in June.
