Worcestershire fast bowler Ben Allison produced his career-best batting and bowling performances in 2026

Worcestershire seamer Ben Allison has signed a new three-year deal with the Pears.

Allison, 26, had two loan spells at Worcester before arriving on a more permanent deal in 2025.

"The exciting part about seeing Ben re-sign is that there is a lot more to come from him moving forward," said head coach Alan Richardson.

"He is one of the most popular members of the dressing room and is a huge character, so I am really happy to see him commit to Worcestershire.

"Ben has grown into a really important figure within our side, both as a bowler but also as someone showing a real maturity to his game. He has stepped up to form a really formidable and consistent partnership with Tom Taylor in red ball cricket.

"He is equally adept with the bat lower down the order and is exceptional in the field also."

As well as his 88 first-class wickets for the Pears at 25.50, he is a top slip fielder and made his career-best score of 89 in this summer's County Championship Division Two match with Middlesex.

He also took career-best bowling figures of 6-42 (and match figures of 11-64) in the final game of the season against Derbyshire at Worcester.
