Last year, in early September when we would’ve normally had our yearly Ars Boston meet, nobody felt much like partying. But this year is different: we’re all recovering well, and things are looking up for Ars and for the country. So, on September 21st, the Ars crew is gonna pitch a playa’s ball down at Jillian’s in Boston. Hoods, thugs, hustlers, gangsters, p1mps, consultants, programmers, engineers, Counter Strike addicts, distributed computing moguls, webmasters, and various other types of shady characters from all over the country and all over the world will descend upon Boston’s party district for a night of pool, video games, food, drink, and general mayhem, the likes of which haven’t been seen since the last Ars Boston meet in 2000. Here’s the breakdown:

  • Who:The Ars staff, and anyone over the age of 18.
  • What:Steer wrestling, knife throwing, that mechanical bullride thing, skeet shooting, and large hats… no, wait, that was the Ars Texas meet.
  • When:Saturday, September 21, beginning at 4pm.
  • Where:Jillian’sin Boston.
  • Why:Why not?
