EXOBOT sedan and SUV.CEER Motors

Saudi Arabia’s CEER has revealed its first two production vehicles this week at the new CEER Manufacturing Complex in King Abdullah Economic City. The EXOBOT sedan and SUV mark the country’s first domestic passenger-car brand and use an 112 kWh battery with an 800-volt electrical system. The company plans five more models by 2030.

The EXOBOT carsfeaturea low, wedge-shaped body designed by Rob Melville, a former McLaren designer. Their 7.8 feet (2.4-meter) windshield sits at a 15-degree angle. The cars also use thin light bars with 32 vertical elements and forged aluminum wheels with triangular openings inspired by Lahej architecture.

Thecarsuse Shahin Wing Doors that extend nearly 10 feet and rise through a 2-foot arc. Their pillarless design creates a wide opening into the cabin. Lower door glass can also switch between tinted and opaque settings, adding privacy while giving the cars anunusual exteriorappearance.

Two different body styles

The sedan is 17.3 feet long, 6.9 feet wide, and 4.7 feet tall. The SUV is 16.5 feet long, has the same width, and stands 5.5 feet tall. It also provides more than 11 inches of ground clearance. Both models share a 10.5-foot wheelbase.

Up to 1,111 horsepower

First Edition models use three electric motors with all-wheel drive, producing 850 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. The sedan reaches 62 mph in 2.6 seconds, while the SUV does it in 2.9 seconds. Higher-output versions make 1,111 horsepower and 1,106 lb-ft, cutting those times to 2.1 and 2.4 seconds.

Range and fast charging

The sedan claims up to 416 miles of range under the NEDC cycle, while the SUV is rated for up to 348 miles. Charging from 10 to 80 percent takes less than 30 minutes, with peak charging power reaching about 250 kW.

Built for Saudi heat

CEER says its Halo Cooling system can lower cabin temperature from 149°F to 90°F within 10 minutes. Quadruple silver-coated glass, specialized foils, dual air-conditioning systems, and an aerodynamic roof are designed to limit heat entering the cabin.

High-tech cabin

A 48-inch curved 8K display spans the dashboard, joined by a 10.4-inch center screen and an 8-inch rear display. A yoke steering system uses steer-by-wire, reducing lock-to-lock movement from 400 degrees to 160 degrees. Rear-wheel steering and adaptive air suspension are also included.

Software and driver assistance

The EXOBOT supports Arabic and English voice commands, over-the-air updates, hands-free highway driving, automated lane changes, and point-to-point navigation. A companion app lets owners check charging and cabin temperature and remotely park the vehicle.

Local production begins

CEER will build the vehicles at its King Abdullah Economic City facility, with production starting before first deliveries in 2027. The company targets 45 percent local content by 2034 and plans to supply Saudi Arabia and nearby markets. First Edition cars feature Nappa leather and numbered plaques, while pricing remains undisclosed.
