Homer Simpson, the much loved beer swilling, nuclear plant destroying, pork chop eating all American cartoon character in Fox’s The Simpsons, has some goodadvicefor those interested in the now availableSeason 2 DVD. Homer suggests we all get regionless DVD players, contrary to the recommendations of Homer’s parent company, Fox. In the DVD Q&A, Homer and Lisa explain all the intricacies of what has become my obsession (Mmmmmmm… Massive collection of DVD movies I will never watch [drool]). Additionally, Homer reminds the viewer that the word “Versatile” in DVD is merely placed there so that the studios can charge more. Wise words indeed.

Sadly, the interview is meant in jest despite theinsinuationsof theBBC. It’s a fun read (the Fox site, not the BBC as the BBC is never fun in true British fashion) on a Friday afternoon for those looking to fend off productivity in these last few hours of the week.
