Wind and solar power are becoming more important worldwide, but their power output depends on the weather. However, Ore Energy co-founder and CEO Aytac Yilmaz believes this is where iron-air batteries could step in.
Yilmaz earned his bachelor’s degree from Boğaziçi University in his native Turkey before moving to the US. He completed his master’s degree at the University of Florida, and later came to the Netherlands to pursue a PhD in materials science at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).
