Meta’s handheld AI gadget, called the Muse Charm, will be able to recognize and interact with other nearby Charms when it launches later this year. That’s accordingto a report fromBloomberg, which includes more details about the device that the company teased during itsMeta Connect keynote on Wednesday.

The Muse Charm houses thecompany’s buzzy Muse AI agentand comes with a built-in 5G modem, meaning you won’t need to connect to Wi-Fi to interact with the AI agent, according toBloomberg. It will come with a two-inch OLED touchscreen, a new operating system, and a fingerprint sensor you can use to start interacting with Muse AI.

The Charm will also feature cameras designed for taking photos and videos, as well as for providing Muse with visual information about its surrounding environment,Bloombergreports. It will have built-in speakers, microphones, and a USB-C charging port as well, while offering music and video playback, according toBloomberg. You’ll also be able to set up the device through Meta’s Muse app on iOS or Android.

Zuckerberg says Meta plans to launch the device “in time for the holidays in December,” but didn’t confirm any pricing information. Sources tellBloombergthat the Charm will likely cost as much as a smartwatch, though the company still hasn’t determined mobile carrier fees for 5G access.
