Alfa Romeo has revealed the “Perla Nera,” a custom version of itslimited-production33 Stradale supercar.
The vehicle was commissioned by aprivate collectorworking with the company’s Centro Stile design division. It is the only all-black model among the 33 units planned for production.
“Perla Nera perfectly embodies Bottega’s ambition: transforming a customer’s desire into something exclusive and unrepeatable,”saidCristiano Fiorio, General Manager of Bottegafuoriserie.
“Every detail of this 33 Stradale was developed together with its owner, through an ongoing dialogue that led to the creation of a truly unique example.”
Bottega built the car as a one-off
The vehicle was built by Bottega Alfa Romeo, a division handling bespoke models alongside Maserati. It will remain a one-off build, with no identical models planned for the remainder of the 33 Stradale production run.
A twin-turbo engine powers the new vehicle
The car is powered by a mid-mounted 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing over 630 horsepower. It uses an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox and rear-wheel drive, reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) in under three seconds with a top speed of 333 km/h (207 mph). The structure combines a carbon-fiber monocoque with an aluminium H-frame chassis.
Handmade carbon panels form the car body
The car's body panels are made from matte-finish carbon fiber, laid by hand inside moulds to follow the contours of the bodywork. The weave forms a V-shaped design on the bonnet and continues as a herringbone pattern along the roofline. The buyer was involved throughout the manufacturing process to review the alignment of the panels.
Engineers removed external badges from the car
Alfa Romeo removed all external badges except for the brand’s main emblems to keep the exterior surface plain. The car is fitted with bespoke all-black wheels that match the dark carbon-fiber finish.
Black Alcantara covers the custom interior cabin
The interior is upholstered in black Alcantara with matching carbon-fiber trim. Technicians built the driver's sports seat to the owner’s measurements during custom fitting sessions. The upholstery uses Alfa Romeo’s traditional ribbed pattern, which also appears on the door panels and side sills.
Model name appears throughout the cabin
The name "Perla Nera" appears on the headrests, on an engraved plate on the door panel, and inside a relocated rear storage compartment. The rotary drive selector is marked with the owner’s initials, and a matching Alcantara luggage set carries the car's production number.
Historic racing emblems remain inside the interior
Alfa Romeo's Quadrifoglio and Autodelta racing badges are placed only inside the cabin rather than on the exterior. This leaves the outer bodywork completely unbadged while displaying the marque's racing symbols to the occupants.
