Poll Technica: switch fever?

Apple’s "Switch" campaign was almost perfectly planned. The release of OS X 10.2 has alleviated many people’s fears (but not all!) that the OS wouldn’t live up to its hype. Well, OK, not itshype, but its implied, peel-back-the-superlatives promise for a better Mac experience. This release comes on the heels of even more "Switch" ads hitting the tube and absolutely fawning reviews of the OS in major media outlets (of course, we all know where thereal goods are). 10.2 certainly has people talking, and not just Mac users. So, this week’s Poll Technica wants to know: Being honest, how have recent developments at Apple effected your attraction to the Mac? Note: for the purpose of this poll, *nix includes *BSD and GNU/Linux (but not OS X, which some of you are convinced counts as UNIX). If you’re switching from Amiga or QNX or Daddy’s Homemade OS, chose whatever makes you happy.

Reflecting back on our previous poll, I am once again proven wrong when it comes to guessing your tastes. I honestly thought everyone hated Burger King’s fries. Ye there they are, ever so slightly squeezing out Wendy’s for the #2 spot, placing them at roughly half the popularity of McDonald’s fries, which were a clear favorite. BTW, props to NuVector for helping me refine my poll choices.
