Mara has raised $7 million to develop Spike, an automated counter-UAS system designed to tackle the growing threat from small FPV drones. As these low-cost aircraft become harder to detect and defeat, traditional defenses can struggle against multiple targets arriving from different directions. Spike is being developed around distributed, autonomous defense, highlighting the growing race to build affordable counter-drone systems for the modern battlefield.
