MacBook Air (M5, 2026)

As someone who’s tested dozens of laptops this year already, I still find myself recommending theMacBook Air M5more than any other. It’s the most well-rounded laptop you can buy, sporting great performance, long battery life, and a razor-thin chassis. The price has gone up considerably over the past year, but that’s true of many of thebest laptops. And now, it's at its lowest price since June, making it an absolute must-buy and the top of my list forPrime Day laptop deals.—Luke Larsen
