Five European countries are pursuing more than 400 CV90 MkIV infantry fighting vehicles, as Slovakia, Denmark and others expand their fleets of Sweden’s increasingly popular armored platform.

The CV90 is becoming an increasingly important infantry fighting vehicle across Europe. Finland, Norway, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Sweden are jointly pursuing more than 400 CV90 MkIV vehicles, with deliveries expected to begin in 2028. Meanwhile, Slovakia has ordered 152 CV9035 MkIVs and Denmark another 44 CV90s. BAE Systems is also expanding production capacity in Sweden to meet growing demand for the Swedish-designed combat vehicle.
