If you live in the US and purchased an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or any iPhone 16 model between June 10th, 2024, and March 29th, 2025, you can file a claimon the settlement’s website, as reportedearlier byMacRumors.

You can receive an estimated $25 per eligible device, but the settlement’s website notes that this can increase to $95 depending on how many people file claims. To file a claim, you’ll need to enter your name, contact information, and iPhone serial number on the settlement’s website before the December 21st, 2026 deadline.

Theclass action lawsuit allegedApple created a “clear and reasonable consumer expectation” that new AI features previewedduring WWDC 2024would launch alongside the iPhone 16. Instead, the iPhone 16 launched with amore limited set of capabilitiesdespite beinglabeled as “built for Apple Intelligence.”The company later delayed the rollout of itsAI-upgraded Siri, which only justarrived with iOS 27 earlier this month. Apple has denied any wrongdoing.
