This is the best price I've seen on the MacBook Air since the beginning of the summer, when Apple introduced its $200 price increase. This sale effectively undoes that increase, which is heartening in a time of seemingly endless price hikes across the tech industry. It also makes the MacBook Air hard to beat for overall laptop deals. It's alreadymy favorite laptop, and the one I think most people should buy. And for the discounted price of $1,099, it's an even more obvious buy.
